考研英语的翻译题型

　　2017年考研英语一的篇章翻译出自Nature，题目是Universal truths。这篇文章的理论性比较强，对于大家来说应该会感觉很有难度，大家首先要理解文章大意。

考研英语的翻译题型

　　1. In physics, one approach takes this impulse for unification to its extreme, and seeks a theory of everything a single generative equation for all we see。

　　文章上文提到，科学界一直在寻找一种通用的、放之四海而皆准的法则(universal principles)。从牛顿到达尔文的法则都试图将一系列不同的现象(强制)归结于某一种单一的理论框架中。然后在物理学中，有一种方法把这种统一的冲动发挥到了极致(takes this impulse for unification to its extreme，impulse for unification，就是指前面提到的，一个通行的解释所有现象的法则，所以叫generative equation，生成等式。

　　1)That引导的定语从句修饰patterns。

　　2)这里的grammar是指是上文的生成语法，所以这里可以把生成语法翻译出来。

　　3)co-dependencies 这个词需要根据词根词缀来猜测出词义，因为下文指出是两者关系，所以可以翻译为共存性。
