　　I am a pedestrian student in college,liking most college students in China ,I have to pass CET 4 to get an academic degree.I don't think it necessary to link English to degree,in my opinion,it is a pity thing in China.I call for an great transformation in education of China.

　　As you know,in order to enter college,we all have learnt English for neary 10 years.Most of us have little chance to work or study in foreign countries. Chinese is our native language ,I don't know why we have to spent so much time on English,a foreign language.Idon't mean that English isn't importent,but Chinese is also importent.

　　Once we leve college,most students will seldom use English,in fact,maybe the only chance to show our English is that when we teach our children.I am afraid the fact exits in the modern society.

　　In modern times,we have more and more subjects in college,students have so many chances to choose their favourate one.But no matter what subject they choose ,they have to learn English hard.Why? Dose the subject more important than the others,even their specialized core courses ? Of course not.They learn it just to pass CET4,to get their acdemic degree.Once they passed,they would forget English as soon as possible.I hope the the authorities may pay attention to the phenomena .

　　Well,in my opinion ,we should make a concrete analysis of concrete problems .We all know English is a important tool in international world, so we'd better allow students choose their favourate parts of English to learn.For example,students majoring in Computer Science may learn Computer English,thay also can have a test ,but the Computer English would take the major part.

　　Above all,in my view,I hope the English edution should have the whole place reorganised. All around were change and decay.I took a keen interest in the revolution going on all round our college.
