How to Celebrate Halloween
Gordon: Boo!
Molly: Ahh, you scared me. You sounded just like a ghost!
Gordon: That was my plan.
Molly: You shouldn't scare people, that is rude. Right?
Gordon: But it is almost Halloween. It is fun to scare each other on this fun holiday.
Molly: Isn't Halloween only on October 31?
Gordon: Actually many creative people use the entire month of October to celebrate, get dressed up like a monster, have parties and trick or treat.
Molly: What is Trick or Treat?
Gordon: Sit back and let me explain.
戈登：呜!
莫莉：啊，你吓到我了。你叫得像鬼一样。
戈登：我故意的。
莫莉：你不应该吓唬人，那样很粗鲁，不是吗?
戈登：可是现在快到万圣节了，在万圣节吓唬对方是很有意思的。
莫莉：不是10月31日才是万圣节吗?
戈登：实际上很多人一整个月都在庆祝这个节日。他们穿成鬼怪的样子，开晚会，玩trick or treat游戏。
莫莉：什么是Trick or Treat?
戈登：坐下来我慢慢给你解释。
对话2：
Gordon: Boo!
Molly : I wasn't scared at all.
Gordon: It is hard to trick you.
Molly : No trick, no treat, maybe next time.
Gordon: Are you going to the party tonight? I heard they will have bobbing for apples and a costume party.
Molly : I may go as a vampire.
Gordon: Great! I will go as a male vampire then we can be Mr. and Mrs. Vampire.
Molly : In your dreams. You should dress up a wolf-man.
Gordon: Why?
Molly : Because you are already so hairy! You look like a wolf. Wow, and your teeth are so big, just like your hairy nose!
Gordon: You just wait until we are around the fire tonight. I will tell a scary story that will shake everyone with fear.
Molly : I hope you won't just tell another story about some old ghost.
Gordon: No, I will tell the story of how a vampire was eaten by a wolf on Halloween...boo!
戈登：呜!
莫莉：我一点儿也不害怕。
戈登：想捉弄你真难。
莫莉：没有恶作剧就没有款待，下次吧。
戈登：你今晚会去参加晚会吗?我听说他们会有漂浮苹果游戏和服装比赛。
莫莉：我可以扮成吸血鬼。
戈登：太好了，我扮成男吸血鬼，这样我们就是吸血鬼夫妇了。
莫莉：你休想，你应该扮成狼人。
戈登：为什么?
莫莉：因为你本来长得就很多毛，看起来像一只狼。哇，你的牙长得跟你多毛的鼻子那么大!

戈登：不，我会讲一个在万圣节之夜吸血鬼怎样被狼人吃掉的'故事...呜!
对话3：
Molly : How did your Halloween party go?
莫莉：你们的万圣节晚会怎么样?
Gordon: Two thumbs up. It was fantastic. I met a new girlfriend. She was also a vampire. We
drank some blood together.
戈登：好极了。我认识了一个新女孩。她也扮成吸血鬼。我们一起吸血。
Molly : You drank real blood?
莫莉：你真的吸血吗?
Gordon: No way, it was just red juice, but we called it blood because it was Halloween
night. How about your evening?
戈登：不可能，我们吸红果汁，我们叫它血因为那是在万圣节之夜。你那晚过得怎么样?
Molly : I met a handsome werewolf. But I had to say good bye to him.
莫莉：我认识了一个英俊的狼人，可我不得不跟他说再见。
Gordon: Really, why did you get rid of him?

Molly : I saw him today and he still looked like a werewolf.
莫莉：我今天又见到他了，他看起来还是像一个狼人。
Gordon: Now that is scary!!!!!

Molly : Happy Halloween! What creature from mythology are you dressed as?
莫莉：万圣节快乐!你想扮成神话中的什么角色?
Gordon: Hi, I am vampire with big fangs. Boo!
戈登：嗨，我是长着尖牙的吸血鬼!
Molly : I like your black clothes and your fangs are cool.
莫莉：我喜欢你的黑衣服，你的尖牙真酷。
Gordon: I will bite many beautiful girls on the neck tonight. Maybe I will suck their
blood.

Molly : In your dreams.

Gordon: What are you going as?

Molly : I will be a green-faced Frankenstein.

Gordon: You look more like the beautiful bride of Frankenstein!

Molly : Good idea, if I find a boy who is going as Frankenstein, I can kiss with my
husband.

Gordon: Don't make me use these fangs on you!

Gordon: Everyone is getting dressed up in strange costumes. Like you, what are you supposed
