We all know a famous saying ,"Where there is a will,there is a way." I think it is true,and it is surely a motto.If you put a goal in your life,and work hard to achieve it,you'll find you can get a success.Just like Yu Gong in Chinese ancient story.He set a goal to move the mountain in front of his house.It seemed impossible for other people at first.But he tried and he was successful.The story inspires everyone of us.We should have a will and set a goal,and then find a way to success.
A student who has no resolution will never succeed in his studies.We should be self-confident and believe that we can success,if we have a strong will.Edison invented electric light due to his strong will to explore science.Tagore became a famous poet out of his will to write beautiful poems.Everyone ought to have a will and spare no effort to achieve your target.Success won't be far from you.The same is true of men in all walks of life.We must always remember the old saying :“where there is a will there is a way”.
27.School library or internet café,which do you prefer when in search of information? Give reasons.
Along with the rapid development of society,there are many ways available to find information,such as school library or internet café and etc.My favorite way is to go to Internet café.First of all,it is very convenient to surf for whatever I want.I can just click the button,then I get the materials.Second,as we all know that Internet is rich in information.We can find lots of relevant information for a study project.Thirdly,searching on Internet won't take too much time.Sometimes it will only take a few minutes to find information.Anyhow,their are more advantages than what I have mentioned.I like to surf on Internet to help my study.
28.Do you often write to or call your parents What do you usually tell them on the phone or in your letters?
I often call my parents when I am homesick or have troubles in my university life.I often call my parents on Sunday morning.
Over the phone,I normal would ask them to take care of themselves,eat healthy food and pay attention to the changeable weather or dress properly.Sometimes,I tell them some interesting things about my classmates and what I learned in the week.By informing them what I am doing,I wish to relieve them from warrying about me.I hope to hear their laughter,which is a consolation to me.Now,I've got into a habit of calling my parents every week.
29.What's courage? Give an example of an act of courage.
Courage means dare to say or do what you think is right,even though other people may not agree or approve.Courage is the quality of bravery when you are in danger,in pain,or in difficult situations.There are kinds of examples of act of courage.For instance,in 2009,in order to save a drowning boy,three university students lost their lives.The moment they jumped into the river to save the child in danger,they cared not about the danger ahead or even their own lives.This is the greatest courage I admire and should learn from.
30.Do you like to see English movies?
I enjoy seeing English movies.First of all,seeing English movies is a good way to learn English.We can learn English form dialogues in movies to help prove both listening and speaking.
Secondly,by seeing English movies we can learn cultures of English-spoken countries,understand how people think and behavior in circumstances different from ours.In this way,we enrich our knowledge and widen our horizon of other people and land.Thirdly,English movies do not noly entertain people but also leave something for us to think about.Take“2012” as an example: “What if the phenomena on the screen come ture?” is a real question to every body.After seeing these movies,many people really begin to think about serious environmental problems.Above all,seeing English movies helps both learning and understanding.I like seeing English movies.
