　　对英语单词进行编故事的方法主要有三个：

　　一，熟悉元素联结法：

　　如果是一个字母比较多的单词，其中经常会包含一些我们早已熟悉的单词或词根，通过把这些熟悉的元素进行想像联结，就可以轻松地记住这个新的单词。

　　例如：

　　，hesitate 犹豫

　　“hesitate”这个单词中包含了三个我们早已非常熟悉的单词：he（他）、sit（坐）、ate（吃eat的过去式）。

　　我们编故事的时候，要一次性地把“he、sit、ate”这个字母组合与“犹豫”这个中文字义联结在一起。

　　我们可以编成这样一个小故事：hesitate 他坐着吃鱿鱼（犹豫）。
