“Why do you want to smoke?”Many people often ask questions like this.In recent years,there is a general tendency to more and more children also learn to smoke.They don't know the dangers of smoking,just think that smoking is cool, it's a trend.From the picture,we can come to a conclusion,smoking is equal to chronic suicide.
It is well known that a cigarette contains many chemical substances such as tar and nicotine.Burning cigarettes can produce certain poisonous substances.Therefore,smoking can harm not only smokers but also non-smokers around them.On the one hand,the hazardous chemicals will do harm to smokers’ lung cells and blood circulation,which can shorten their lifespan.On the other hand,non-smokers exposed to second-hand smoke are at high risk of many health problems.
To be brief,smoking is no less than chronic suicide,which destroys the health both smokers’ and people around them.People should try their best to give up smoking,for their own health, for the family.

When i was in high school, I had to study all the time and hardly had spare time to do what i wanted to.Besides, I had to focus on my textbooks and doing exercise again and again. Therefore, I had little time to read magazines and novels and watch TV. what was worse, I couldn't play with my friends a lot, which I couldn't stand the most. In a word, all i did in high shool should be considered for the College Entrance Examination.
However, my college life is totally different from the life in high school.I can arrange my time freely. I spend most of my time reading in the library, where I can open my eyes and broaden my mind.In my free time, I also join some clubs,where i can make a lot of friends of different majors. My teachers in college are so kind and knowledgeable that they not only teach us knowledge but also how to be a person and how to get on with others. In addition, there are more opportunities for me to improve myself.
I believe college life is an important stage in my life. In college, i can learn how to learn by myself, how to get on with others, how to live independently.College provides me with a stage where i can show myself and be myself.

There are some arguments for owning private cars.In the first place,cars allow people to move around freely,which greatly improves our living standard.We easily drive cars for traveling.In second place,When we have something urgent to do,cars are quick than other vehicles in some extent.Last but not least,the car industry can boost economy by creating many job opportunities.
However,there are also many arguments against cars.First of all,they pollute the environment by emitting harmful gases.What’s more,cars cause a large number of traffic accidents,which bring great misery to their family.
As far as I am concerned,we should limit the number of private cars by providing better mass transportation and better service for the people.Everyone should sacrifice his or her own interest for the mass society.

In the first place,as most students never stay away from parents , so they was not accustomed to live in the dormitory and they will try to move out and to get more private place.What’s more,the living conditions are generally not so good ,there are no modern equipments,and students have to obey many regulations when living in the dormitory.At length,the roomates all are come from the different place,living habits are quite different.
From my point of view,it would be better for college students to live in the dormitory .On the one hand,it is good for college students to communicate with each other,which is will help to develop social and professional skills.On the other hand,living in the outside is more expensive than in the dormitory.We can use the money saved from renting a house to do something meaningful.
