十二月二十二号，我和五个同学一起来到四眼碶中学参加英语比赛。
我们是第三个表演，原本非常自信，可看了前两个表演后，顿时，成了一个个泄了气的气球。就说第二个表演吧，他们演的是英文的“三打白骨精”。内容很多，也非常幽默，原本书中写的是悟空外出时，唐僧等人在原地休息，而表演的的同学们却改编成了在原地打扑克。这让全场的评委老师和同学都笑了起来。我们也哈哈大笑。不一会儿就到我们了。
我们径直走上舞台，快速布置起来。布置完背景后，我按照自己的稿子认真地念了起来。在警察出场时，闹了一个小笑话。我的旁白还没有念完时，警察就出来了。这也注定了我们的分数会下降。表演完了后，我们下场欣赏别的`同学的表演了。
我看了接下来的表演，有的表演《狐狸偷肉》，有人表演《小红帽》，还有人表演《狐假虎威》等经典的故事，我觉得我们最多只能拿最后一名，所以在心里下定了决心要好好学习英语，成为英语小能手。
比赛虽然结束了，但我一定要好好学英语。

It was really an interesting Sunday.

那一天，我去参加一个英语大赛，我哆哆嗦嗦的进了候场室，我坐在了椅子上，心情似乎平静一些了，我坐在椅子上，把上场要说的自我介绍，和英语故事“老鼠和狮子”都说了一遍，之后，大赛开始了，我排在了5号，看着前面的选手一个个都说得十分流利，我着急地走来走去，那时的心情比要去刑场的人好不到哪去，因为我是个有些内向的孩子，我深吸了一口气，告诉自己不要害怕，你一定行的！“请5号上场！”我再次深呼吸，并对自己说，你一定行的，于是我满怀信心的走到了演讲台上，我对着评委和老师们流利的说了一遍我背的`苦瓜烂熟的英语故事，老师们面对面说了一会就让我下去了，我等了好久，终于颁奖了，我等了好久终于听到喊我的名，我一看，呀！一等奖，我开心的笑了，笑的很开心。
