　　那天，我放学到大家，看到得了颈椎病的妈妈正在睡觉。看看钟已经5点了，我的肚子饿的咕咕叫，可又不忍心叫醒妈妈。心想：我已经七岁了，爸爸不在家，我就应该照顾妈妈。我来做顿饭，让妈妈和我一起吃，那该多好啊！可打开冰箱一看，里面没米也没菜，只有一包饺子，怎么办呢？就煮饺子吧！

　　我拿出那包北方饺子，跑到厨房里。迫不及待地饺子放到锅里，再把锅端到水龙头下面，接满一锅水，又小心翼翼地把锅端到煤气灶上，打开阀门点燃火，就安心地做作业去了。过了一会，我又跑到厨房里，揭开锅盖，只看见锅里的饺子全躺在水下，和刚倒进锅里的饺子没什么两样，只是水变浑了。肯定没熟，盖上锅盖继续煮吧。做完数学作业，再次跑到厨房里，这回该熟了吧？揭开锅盖一看，吓了我一跳——锅里的饺子全都破了，水也干了。唉，这哪是饺子啊，完全是一锅羹。妈妈看到了肯定会骂我的？这是怎么回事？我是哪儿做错了？

　　这时妈妈从床上下来了，她问我：“怎么了？”我低着头很不好意思地把刚才的事说了一遍，等待着妈妈的责骂……“你这小笨蛋，”妈妈摸着我的头说，“煮饺子应该先把水烧开，再下饺子；等煮开后，就点一点儿凉水，盖上锅盖，再次煮开。得点三次凉水，最后一次烧开后，饺子就会浮在水面上，这时的饺子就可以捞起来吃了。”我看着妈妈憔悴而又慈祥的.脸，眼泪再也忍不住了……

　　我按照妈妈的话把剩下的饺子煮了，饺子终于煮熟了，一个个晶莹剔透，象一只只白色的小帆船漂浮在水面上……我连忙把饺子盛在碗里，端给了妈妈。妈妈说：“你真是个能干的小笨蛋！”
