Take a second chanceYOU'VE got a good voice，and your dream is to make a career for yourself in the music world.Suddenly，you're offered a record deal.So what do you do?Obviously，you jump at any opportunity for stardom，right?
Kelly Clarkson actually let her first chance pass her by.She was 18，and she had just moved to Los Angeles from Texas to pursue her entertainment dream.“[The record company ] told me that if I lost 20 pounds (9 kilograms)that they would sign me，”Clarkson told NPR.
