　　指代题

　　（1）标志：在题干中明确指出原文中某个代词，要求辨别其指代关系。

　　（2）解题顺序：

　　① 返回原文，找出出题的指代词。

　　② 向上/下搜索，找最近的名词、名词性短语或句子（先从最近点开始找，找不到再找次近的，一般答案不会离得太远）。

　　③将找到的词、词组或句子与四个选项进行比较，找出最佳答案。

　　结合指代题的的解题方法：

　　② 向上/下搜索，找最近的名词、名词性短语或句子：我们完整的看完这一段落，可以发现这是一个总分的结构：开段落开头提出“总”：they’re not in despair because their own fortunes still feel pretty good.之后分两点来解释“总”。A:Home prices are holding steady in most regions.In Manhattan,...In San Francisco, ...

　　而题目中的关键词出现在分点A中，因此谈论的'应该是Home prices，即选择B选项。

　　提醒：大家一定要对段落结构敏感。在阅读中，大多数的文章都采用总分的结构来写，因此我们要注意“总”和“分”的究竟指的是什么。

　　【分析】利用文中的原词，进行干扰：在the $4 million to $10 million range出现地这句话中，出现过a new gold rush，出题者利用gold来混淆大家。

　　【分析】和选项A一样，利用文中的“Wall Street bonuses”,大家一看到华尔街，就会联想到金融，就会很容易选择选项C。

　　[D] venture investment

　　【分析】文中并未提及这一概念，但是有同学会根据“Wall Street bonuses”和“frenzied overbidding”开始脑补。但是大家在脑补的时候不要只根据个别单词来，一定要根据文章段落的脉络推断。
