1、考研英语阅读重基础知识考查。
例如传统阅读第三篇文章第34题就是对于词义的同义替换的考查。

【解析】本题回文定位并不难，定位到原文第四段最后一句话，Time, rather than intention, has given themlegitimacy.但问题是同学们能否知道 [B]中的endurance是对于原文Time的替换，justice是对于原文中legitimacy的'替换。本题比较简单，直接考查对于词汇的同义替换。此种题型在考研中较常见，考查的就是大家的英语基础，平时养成把词汇分类记忆的习惯。
2、作者态度观点一般有明确的感情色彩词。
如2014年英语一传统阅读第三篇第35题。

【答案】[D]acceptable despite the criticism. 不管批评，而去接受。
【解析】本文是作者态度观点题，定位在文章最后一段，最后两句话it is fair tocriticize and question the mechanism—that is the culture of research, afterall—but it is the prize –givers’ money to do with as they please. It is suchgifts with gratitude and grace. 作者态度很明确。另外同学们也可以找到作者所用的情感态度词来判断，文章大量运用了“正向”词汇，比如surelya good thing; wise; with gratitude and grace. 其他三个选项中都是负向词，比如A中的unworthy，B中的undesirable，C中的harmful。因此都为错误选项，答案为D。
3、考查学生对于篇章的总体理解，考生要学会把握文章主旨。
