Similarly, it also takes musicians and painters a large amount of time and energy to compose a song or draw a satisfactory picture. It is common that a song could either bring joy and happiness to human beings or reflect people’s sadness under some conditions. 　　From my own perspective, arts are as important as modern technology and science because of some unique functions. For most scientists, what they pursue may be a higher efficiency and accomplishing tasks in a shorter time. However, the existence of arts may allow people to enjoy their life in a slower pace. For example, spending a whole day on drawing a picture may be wasteful for some scientists, but painters could have a sense of achievement through such an activity. Thus, there is a need for emphasizing arts since arts could allow people to gain satisfaction as well.

　　In sum, individuals maintain their respect towards artists since artists devote themselves to careers they like and their product could demonstrate emotions of human beings better than technologies do. In my opinion, arts are also crucial for people could also obtain fulfillment through artistic activities.

It seems that the exhaustive soul can be nourished in the company of a light-hearted classic music and a piece of oil painting. 　　On one hand, a larger quantity of TV channels could bring audiences more choices and make television more attractive. When there exists a limited number of TV channels, inevitably, viewers may be tired of some programs, especially programs that only focus on political issues, and some audiences may not regard television as a form of recreation. However, providing that more channels are available for citizens, such as channels concerning about tourism, movies and documentary, different viewers could find what they are interested in through television. Then, it may be a win-win situation since television could gain popularity again and viewers could take sufficient recreation or acquire more information.

　　On the other hand, poor TV programs may arise from a rising quantity of TV broadcast stations. It is acknowledged that the number of qualified producers for TV programs are limited. When a new channel runs, there may not be excellent producers and directors who are potent to guarantee content of TV programs. Therefore, a dilemma caused by a booming number of TV stations is TV programs may be produced in emergency, and the content of those programs may just be a duplication of other programs.

　　From my own perspective, there is a necessity of increasing the number of TV programs in order to meet demands of viewers, but governments need to better supervise behavior of TV stations. For example, some inappropriate content, such as violence and drugs, may attract some audiences’ attention; however, such content cannot be the mainstream of TV programs, especially considering its potential detriments on adolescents and children.
