雅思口语话题范文：maths
1) At what age did you start studying mathematics?
I can't exactly remember, but it was probably in my first year at primary school when I was 5 years old. I probably learnt simple addition(加法) at that age.
2) Do you like mathematics? Why / why not?
I don't dislike maths, but I wouldn't say that I've ever really liked the subject either. I'm happy to do simple calculations(计算), but my brain can't cope with(应付)the complex stuff!
3) Is it necessary for everyone to learn mathematics?
Yes, I think it is. We all need a basic grounding in(在某方面的`基础知识) maths so that we can do daily tasks, like managing our money(管理金钱), working out bills(计算账单), and so on.
4) Do you prefer to use a calculator when doing mathematics?
It depends. I quite like exercising my brain with anything that's easy enough, but I use the calculator on my phone for anything tricky(难应对的).
