　　今天要学的一个词是： classified，意思是保密。

　　这跟class上课毫无关系。媒体报导说，布什总统明确表明要控告那些政府认为非法掌握保密材料的人，也就是要"...prosecute individuals it believes unlawfully possess classified material."

　　每个政府都有保密文件 -- classified documents；保密信息 - classified information...等。但是，什么文件应该保密，什么不应该保密往往会引起争论 -- which documents should be classified and which should not often gives rise to arguments. 所以有的时候政府会公开某些原来保密的材料 - to declassify some formerly classified materials。
