　　我有一个漂亮的姐姐，她是一个学习英语热情满满的姐姐。她的英语成绩算是全年级顶呱呱呢！

　　早在几年前，姐姐上初中的时候，我们去国外，姐姐就用一口流利的'英语给我们做导游和翻译了。

　　姐姐学英语是非常刻苦的。记得有一次，姐姐为了提升自己的口语水平，去西湖边给老外做志愿者。那天风雨交加，电闪雷鸣，妈妈对姐姐说：“今天这么大的雨，就不必再去了。”姐姐却说：“这点风雨怕什么，难道下雨天就不能办事了吗？”姐姐带着雨伞一溜烟地走了。

　　下午，姐姐心满意足地回来了。虽然衣服都被淋湿了，但是她心里还是美滋滋的。她说一天一共带了五个老外去逛了西湖的名胜古迹，和他们对话，收获了很多呢！

　　平时，无论是在飞机上，还是地铁上，姐姐都会带着耳机听英语的听力作业呢！还每天给自己定一个小目标，背一定量的单词。

　　the golden variety of precious topaz is quite uncommon. most of the worlds topaz is white or blue. the white and blue crystals of topaz are large, often weighing thousands of carats. for this reason, the value of topaz does not depend so much on its size as it does with diamonds and many other precious stones, where the value increases about four times with each doubling of weight. the value of a topaz is largely determined by its quality. but color is also important: blue topaz, for instance, is often irradiated to deepen and improve its color.

　　blue topaz is often sold as aquamarine and a variety of brown quartz is widely sold as topaz. the quartz is much less brilliant and more plentiful than true topaz. most of it is variety of amethyst: that heat has turned brown.

　　A lizard can be a very amazing animal. It can camouflage, and not to be seen. Some kinds in Africa or China can even switch colors. Besides camouflaging and color changing, some even have super strength; some always appears in the stories; like this one:

　　A boy once found an egg, and didn’t know what was in it, so he left it in his room to keep it safe. he thought that it might be a chicken or a duck… Just as he was about to speak up, he found out that he was wrong, for the egg hatched, and out came a little green guy; and that was the first lizard in the world.

　　The boy found out about this of course, and was not pleased at all. He thought that it was just what was on the TV show, a toy egg, except for its move. It was an alive toy, but the boy didn’t notice that it was actually an animal. When he was just about to send him away to sell and earn money, he only found his regular toys on the ground, but not the lizard. The lizard used its camouflage.

　　As you see, a lizard, like the one in the story, can use the camouflage to save its life. Now let us continue this story:

　　The boy was astonished. He turned back, and then turned to where the lizard stood, Luckily he found it. He thought this was a sort of magic trick. At last he went to watch TV because he thought that he could find out something about that lizard. But he found his feet stuck under a big shelf. Suddenly he found the lizard come here, and lift up the toy easily. The lizard used its super strength.

　　There are still many stories of lizards, but now you have noticed the basics of lizards. Not let us finish the story:

　　The boy thought that this lizard was amazing, he tickled him, and then he lay down and squealed. The boy knew at once that this was no ordinary toy, this was a real life animal. He was more than astonished, for he didn’t actually know that this was an amazing animal. When he finished school the next day, he went home. He found a colored pencil and to color a picture for fun; but he didn’t realize that this was a lizard, the lizard switched back immediately to save its own life.
