As we hurried to the school gate, we just caught sight of No. 16 Bus roaring by. (We needed to take No. 16 bus,then change to No. 52 to go to the station. ) We could do nothing but walk to the change stop No. 52. It happened that the road was under repair. It had rained all day. Now, if you were passing hy the strut in front of Zhejiang University, you would see three girls struggling forward; deep in the mud with bags on their hacks and umbrellas in their hands. However, the three of them were acting abnormally and singing happily, "Shoes worn out, hats worn out, robes wornout,..."!

The reasons can be listed as follows. First, manufactures could benefit from the fancy packaging. Glorious packaging would increase the price to a large extent, from which they can gain excessive money. Second, most of this kind of goods are brought and sent as gifts to their relatives and leaders. Gorgeous packaging would attract peoples attention and make the people who buy them have the honor to send them out.
To my mind, excessive packaging is just a waste of resources and money. Most people would throw the package away after they opened it, which would lead to a severe pollution. To prevent the situation, every citizen should be aware of the problem and laws must be made to restrict the manufactures to cut down on luxurious packaging.
