没想到，暑假我竟然当上了英语小老师；更没想到，学生竟然是我的爷爷。
“孙女，我想学英语，你教教我好吗？”暑假的第二天，爷爷就郑重其事地对我说。“您学英语干吗，爷爷？”我不解地望着爷爷。爷爷63岁了，都退休很多年了。“怎么，嫌爷爷老了吗，我学学英语，有机会出国旅游，住宿、吃饭、乘车也好和外国佬交流啊。”看着爷爷那股认真劲，我不得不接受了这个“学生”。
第一天，我教爷爷Good morning(早上好)，Good afterroon(下午好)，good night(晚安)，thanks(谢谢)等英语单词，开始，爷爷总是读不准音，特别是晚安，我一连教了三遍，爷爷都没有学会，气得我忍不住脱口骂了句：“您怎么这样笨啊。”爷爷也不好意思地垂下头，像孩子似的'羞红了脸。后来，我急中生智，在每一个英语单词旁边，用中文注上怎么读音，比如good night旁写上戈纳特。果然，这个办法好，爷爷读得准确了。
第二天，我又教爷爷学了apple（苹果）、banana（香蕉）、noodles（面条）、wonton（馄饨）等，别说，爷爷虽然已过花甲之年，但学起来有板有眼，极其认真。对英语单词的书写也很规范，一笔一划都写得工工整整，清清爽爽。
第三天，我又教了爷爷Spring Festival（春节）、Qingming（清明）、Mid-Autumn Festival（中秋节）、还有Happy birthday（生日快乐）等单词，爷爷竟然又全部学会了，我不得不从心里佩服爷爷，佩服爷爷那种好学的精神。
不知不觉，我已经教爷爷30多天英语了，爷爷没有辜负我的心血，也学会100多个英语单词。怎么样，我这个小老师当得还不错吧。
