　　mankind is wasting things every＇where and everyday. wherever we go, we can see that paper, bottles and cans are thrown away; food is wasted just because of poor taste; clothes are discarded simply due to their old fashion. not only things and money are wasted, but natural resources are abused as well. trees are cut down merely for fuel; wild animals are killed simply for meat and fur; oil and coal are eploited in a bad way.

　　幼儿园之前，爸爸总是抱着我坐在藤椅上阅读英语报纸或杂志，还不识字的我喜欢在报刊上指指点点，让爸爸大声念出每个英语字，指挥爸爸发出声音的游戏，让我乐在其中，渐渐地，换成我开始念出不同的英语字母，不管念对或念错，爸爸总是不厌其烦陪我玩，不知不觉，“玩”英语就变成我的最爱。看到爸爸可以聚精会神享受阅读英语的乐趣，让我也想要学好英语，想要和爸爸一样，自由自在的阅读英语。

　　一开始，爸爸念了很多儿童读物给我听，听完了故事，我会重新说一次给爸爸听；遇到不懂的字，爸爸会耐心为我讲解；有了爸爸的帮助，读书并没有我想象中的困难；然后我开始自己阅读进阶读物，自己漫游在书海里，一本接着一本，不停的探索新奇的世界。

　　在这个过程中，我遇到一些困难，第一个困难是听得懂英语却不知道如何正确拼字，于是，爸爸做了一堆字卡让我每天练习，慢慢推敲拼字的规则，我终于克服了拼字错误的难关；其次，我遇到的第二个困难是中文和英语的字义没办法连结，我很容易忘记英语单字的中文意思；关于这点，爸爸说：别着急，慢慢来；只要每天持续阅读，在阅读英语的同时也不要忽视对于中文的学习，等到中英语的能力都娴熟了，这个难题就可以迎刃而解；因此，我按照爸爸的.说明，每天大量阅读自己感兴趣的中英语书籍，让阅读变成一件享受的事。
