从小学一年级开始，我就很少举手发言，回答问题，尤其是英语课。但是，那天的英语课却让我十分难忘。
“叮铃铃——”上课了，我瞅了一眼课程表，上英语课！天哪！我的心情直降谷底！
老师抱着一本英语书，昂着头，很庄重地走了进来。但这时座位没有坐满，老师站在那里，等着同学们进来。小华又蹦又跳地跑了进来，老师很生气地瞪了他一眼……一分钟之后，同学们全部都坐了下来，老师也开始对我们进行疯狂攻击！老师每问一题，我们就回答。但我，却一题不答，有一题我明明答对了，却把机会放手让给了别人，因为，我不敢举手，怕说错了老师会批评我，而且我英语学得不好，一般般，于是，我呆呆地坐在那。
老师又问了一遍，全班同学基本都举起了手，我们班的英语神通小真，都站了起来，我的左桌小唐，鼓着腮，瞪着双眼，把手举得高高的`。而我却在边上缩着努力减少我的存在感。老师也不知道怎么了，谁也不叫就站在那里看着我，我一惊，慢悠悠地举起手来，老师毫不犹豫地叫了我，让我回答。我紧张地站了起来，从口里很小心地吐出答案，惊奇的是，我答对了，老师满脸笑容给我们组加上一分……
下了课，老师走之前向我做了一个动作，让我的心暖暖的，老师向我做了一个大拇指的动作，还向我微微一笑，我也笑了，表示我会继续努力。
这一天，我过得十分快活，心里十分欢喜，总觉得今天很幸福，很幸运。这件事还让我明白了一个道理，那就是，不管做什么事一定要有信心，不要犹豫，犹豫会让你更害怕，不管你答得是对还是错，都要相信自己，永远不要低估自己，一定要勇往直前。

戴维森老师和其他老师很不同。他二十几岁时试过报考英国空军，但试了两次也没考进去。但是他开飞机的爱好没有消失，他有时在上英文课时会给我们讲他开飞机的故事。他第一次告诉我们时，全班敬佩得五体投地。戴维森老师也骑着摩托车在欧洲环游过，我们每次找欧洲城市的照片给他看，他都知道在哪里。我真羡慕不已。
这一天，五年级有学生打架。我听到戴维森老师生气地说：“进来！”四人慢慢吞吞地走了进去。戴维森老师把四个孩子教训了一顿，取消他们两个星期的小息时间，还给他们自我反思表拿回家让家长签名，让他们认识自己的'错误，最后还要到校长室道歉。我觉得戴维森老师这样做很明智，他们以后就不会轻易犯同样的错误了。
很多人都喜欢戴维森老师，他时不时会让大家哈哈大笑。有一次，他为了让我们理解简单机械，和其他老师做了一个有许多简单机械的机器。他们先用玩具弓箭让大球移动，接着大球撞到小球，小球从管子滑下来，撞到多米诺牌，多米诺牌砸倒一盆水，砸到戴维森老师的头上让他“起床”。这个设计让我们哈哈大笑。还有一次，全班表现得十分出色，戴维森老师非常高兴，就给全班奖励了十分钟小息时间，我们兴高采烈。
我十分佩服戴维森老师，他让我想当老师。如果世界上的老师都像他，该有多好啊！
