People travel by plane, by train, by ship, by bus. To me, the best way of traveling on a summer vacation is to go on foot.
My preference depends on the purpose of the travel. On a summer vacation I travel to refresh myself and to see the countryside. When I use my feet and walk on a grass covered path along a river or among the hills I feel detached from the noise of the city and closer to the nature. And when I travel on foot I get more freedom. I can plan my own schedule. I can choose my own route. I can stop where I like. And I can see things and people that I might miss if I travel on a train or on a bus. net

Home is always important for us. It’s our port. We were along here as soon as we were born. There are our parents in this home.
But since I studied at Shimen Experimental School, Shimen was my second home. There is a lot of students’ mirth and teachers’ kind teaching. It as if my real home. I love here.
Contrast other middle schools, although our school is not very big, but it’s full of warmth in it. In our school, the teachers are liked our parents. They teached us knowledge self-giving. Although “teacher” this job was so tired, but our teachers said that they felt happy when they saw us. The teachers still put right and excuse for our errors in spite of making mistakes. So we love our teachers!
Classmates are liked our brothers and sisters. We will give help if someone had something difficult or problems. We not only classmates but also friends, forever friends! Sometimes we have rubs, yet we won’t feel angry and will realise each other. So this is friendship!
I am in Class Two, Grade Two. For aught I know our class is not the best one in the grade, but I still be proud of it.
Mrs. Nong is our class adviser. She is strict but love us. We all called her “Class Mother”. Because she was liked our mother. It’s interesting, isn’t it? Although we come from different places, but we still flock together, and Class Two is our Eden. I love it very much!

In the current climate of rising college fees andtight job market, the functions of higher education isarousing public concern. Having a degree or notseems not to make any difference to our life and maynot necessarily guarantee a good job and income.
Students who attend higher education obtain awide range of personal, financial and other lifelongbenefits. First of all, the whole experiences of university life including all the academic lecturesand social practices forge our personality and cultivate such virtues as cooperativeness andopenness. In addition, according to the statistics, there is a trendy correlation betweenhigher level of education and higher earnings despite the fierce job hunting competition.University is a huge advantage if we need to acquire expertise to practice in a meaningfulprofession.
In my opinion, it would be wise to attend university. Having a decent degree and beingbroadly intelligent may not guarantee us success, but it makes us a candidate.

It Pays to Be Honest
Nowadays people are troubled with mass of dishonest behaviors in society. Teachers get annoyed when they catch students cheating on exams; consumers get hurt when they unfortunately buy some fake products; children are misled when they see their parents tell lies so as to evade the responsibility they should take.
Why do people cheat? The main reason probably lies in immediate interest they may obtain by cheating. For example, a company, which manufactures fake products, may seem to win for a moment because it can minimize its manufacture cost by doing so. This kind of businesses, however, will be driven out of the market in the long run. For the consumers after getting to know the poor quality of the products will not buy them anymore.the same is true of individuals. Dishonest people dare not take on the responsibility of life. They cheat in class, in office, at home and so on. But the truth can hardly be masked. The moment the truth comes out they will lose their credibility, which is easier to destroy than to rebuild. Consequently, these dishonest will suffer a long time because of their cheating behaviors. In conclusion, no one can afford to be dishonest in a civilized society.
Honesty is the pillar of a society. People will benefit from being honest in the long run. That‘s why we say it pays to be honest.
