　　4月16日上午，CCTV“希望之星”英语风采大赛湘潭赛区复赛在我们东方红学校举行。

　　我去的时候比赛已经开始了，只见向思璐站在上面紧张地表演着，带动着我也紧张了起来。我一看序号，呀！马上就到我了，于是我赶到座位上，其他同学都全神贯注地看着表演者，我也自作镇定的等待着。

　　啊，马上就到我了，我再也掩饰不住那紧张的情绪，心在不停“咚咚，咚咚”地跳着。轮到我上场了，我怀着激动而忐忑不安的心情走上了讲台。我首先敬了个礼，做了自我介绍，然后开始有声有色的表演我的节目，英语小故事《AGOODBOY》。我平复一下自己的情绪，然后流利地讲着我的`故事，边讲还边做动作，仿佛进入了天真的情境。评委老师专注地听着我的故事，不时用笔记一下什么，我看到一位评委老师的眼睛里露出了一点笑意，我如释重负。我的表演结束了，回答完老师的问题后，敬了个礼，便退场了。

　　比赛结束后，在回家的路上妈妈接到电话：“您的孩子成功突围，晋级决赛了。”我知道后，高兴地跳了起来，此时此刻，我想起了之前努力的情形：到老师家上完辅导课后，回家一遍又一遍的练习，经常练到晚上9点多……这些都是值得的。我现在最要感谢的是爸爸、妈妈还有那位辅导老师。

　　正所谓：功夫不负有心人。我从这次比赛中明白了一个道理：只要有辛苦的付出，就会有更好地回报，我要继续认真准备，争取在决赛中取得好的成绩。
