  交通方式的大学英语作文 篇2

In the modem society ,the transportation is becoming more and more important.whether the people go to work or travel,we must do it by the transportation. So,I think,we should discuss the advantage and disadvantage of the transportation. The first is the car.Cars have been coming in our life.It is convenient for us whatever we do.If,we have something that is urgent to do ,the importance of the car is showed. But,the cars are quite expensive, some people can't buy a car,and the gas is also not cheep. On the other hand, the cars will make the air become bad and make the traffic pressure become serious. The next is the bus. Some people don't like to go out by bus.In their opinions, the bud is dirty、crowded and tired. But,I think the bus is cheeper a lot than the car,and that will reduce the environment pollution. And we never worry about the car lost. The last is motor bicycle. It is so convenient for the young people to go out.Whatever we buy things or go to the friends,it will be their first choice. And the motor bicycle is not so expensive. When the young people ride it ,we will become very cool,so a lot of people will ride it fast which is the fatal shortcoming. It is very dangerous ,and that will make the people deform or die. So,I think we should find the way that is handy .In my opinion ,we should take the bus more, because it is convenient and it can make the air cleaner than the car and it is safer than the motor bicycle.

  交通方式的大学英语作文 篇3

In general, there are two ways of traveling, private cars and public transportation. Chinese people should regard public transportation as their first traveling opinion.

First, there are so many people living in this countries that make it so crowded. If each chinese people own a car, there will be far more traffic jams and accidents, which increase you impatience.

Moreover, there will be far more pollution resulted from cars. Once a car started, it release huge amount of dirty gas and heat, which lead to great pollution and result in green house effect.

All in all, Chinese people should take public transpotation into consideration first.

  交通方式的大学英语作文 篇4

As can be revealed from the above graph, we can clearly identify many significant changes in modes of transportation used by city dwellers from 1950 to 1990.

A very noticeable trend was the steady decrease in transportation by bicycle and on foot. In 1950, more than 50% of people traveled to work on their own, while by 1990, less than 20% of travelers preferred cycling or walking to work.

During the same period, there was a large increase in the use of automobiles. In 1950, very few people owned a car. By 1970, approximately one out of every four travelers drove to work. This increased again, until 1990, when one in three travelers drove to work.

When considering the reasons for these changes, people's living style has to be especially concerned. With the increasing number of people going by buses or cars, fewer and fewer people would like to be cyclists or walkers.

As people enjoyed the convenience and speed of buses and cars, they are less likely to have patience and interest in cycling and walking. In the future, with the development of science and technology, more changes in people's means of transportation will be awaiting us.

  交通方式的大学英语作文 篇5

As can be seen from the pie charts, a remarkable tendency draws our attention to transportation. The first chart shows the mileage of the highway in 2008, which took up 57% of mileages in total, while the mileage of airplane and high-speed railway occupied 29% and 14%, respectively. When it comes to the year of 2018, the situation changed dramatically. The proportion of high-speed railways developed to 46% and that of the highway shrank to 16%, with airline rising slightly to 38%.

From these figures, it can be easily seen that high-speed railway has been undergoing an explosive development. Many factors contributing to the phenomenon may be summarized as follows. Above all, due to the promotion made by the Chinese government, an increasing number of people now regard high-speed railway as a safer vehicle than airplane and highway driving. Secondly, taking the weather into consideration, citizens are more willing to take railway rather than the other two since railway is not necessarily influenced by the wet pavement. Finally, given the factors of time cost and safety, high-speed railway is probably the best choice for travelers.

For my part, variation in public transportation witnesses the development of Chinese economy. Governments are encouraged to invest generously in transportation so that more comfortable travels can be predicted in the near future.

Changes in the way of transportation

Thanks to the rapid development of automation and new technologies, means of transportation has changed fundamentally over the last few decades. Transformed travelling modes greatly improved people's daily life.

To start with, the cost of transportation has dropped considerably. For example, flight and train tickets are much cheaper than before. What comes along with lower prices is more options. Besides, the speed and the level of comfort during the journey has tremendously improved. Moreover, a more extensive network allows people to travel freely not only within their usual living area, but also to farther parts of the world. The complex network of roads, highways, railways and air and sea routes connects all corners of the world.

To sum up, effective transportation systems will continue to bring convenience to people's lives. Some might argue against such stance because of the pollution caused by it, yet I'm still convinced that modern transportation system can benefit all humans.

  交通方式的大学英语作文 篇7

Cars are an important part of life in the United States. Cars have made the United Slates a nation on wheels.

There are 3 main reasons why the car has become so popular in this country. First of all, Americans like to travel. The car provides the most comfortable and cheapest form of transportation. With a car people can go any place without spending a lot of moncy.

The second reason that cars are popular is the fact that the United States never really developed an efficient and inexpensive form of public transportation. Long-distance trains have never been as common in the United States as they are in other parts of the world. Air-service provides a comfortable travel system. But it is too expensive to be used frequently.

The third reason is the most important one, though. The American spirit of inde pendence is what really made cars popular. Americans do not like to wait for a bus, or a train or even a plane. They do not like to have to follow an exact schedule. A car gives them the frecdom to schedule their own time, and this is the freedom that Americans want most to have.

  交通方式的大学英语作文 篇8

There are many ways of transportations currently. Such as taxi, bus, bicycle. However, every kind of transportation has its own pros and cons. For instance, travelling by bicycle is a good type of exercise, it helps us to maintain a healthy body, however it is also dangerous to ride a bicycle on the busy roads, also it will take us a long time to get to a place far away. Well taxi is a better option as it is convenient and relatively affordable. However it is difficult to get a taxi during the rush hour. Bus is very convinient, cheap and punctual, but sometimes there is no bus service going to the place we want to get to. Therefore, I think we should choose the type of transportation wisely depending on our destinations.

  交通方式的大学英语作文 篇9

The bicycle is the most common means of transport in our country. There are several reasons for that. First, most people are not rich enough to buy a car. Since the bicycle is not expensive, it is affordable by the average Chinese families. Second, China has a large population and the traffic is heavy. The bicycle has the advantage of being small in size. A road which can only allow two cars to pass may allow more than ten bicycles to run side by side. Finally, people enjoy riding a bicycle to school, to work and on outing. It is so pleasant and the exercise is good for people's health.

Compared with a car, a bicycle has its disadvantages and advantages. For instance, a bicycle is not fit for a long distance trip. A person who sits all day long in a car might get fat and unhealthy, while a person on a bicycle may gain good health and pleasure.

The bicycle is popular in China and it will remain so for a long time to come. Many things must change before cars became common in China. Therefore, in the foreseeable future, the bicycle will still be welcome.

  交通方式的大学英语作文 篇10

An airplane is a form of transportation that has changed people's lives. Thanks to theplane, our lives are now faster, more exciting, and more convenient that before.

You cannot deny that a plane is fast. For example, the Concorde flies at supersonic speed.A businessman can leave Paris at 11 a.m. in the morning and arrive in New York at 8 a.m. thesame morning in time for a day's work. Many business people in Europe will fly to London for anoon morning in time for a day's work. Many business people in Europe will fly to London for anoon meeting and then return home to Rome or Madrid for dinner.

It is always exciting to take a plane trip. When you take a trip by plane, you know that youmight cross many time zones, many oceans, and many countries. When you get off the plane, you could be in a place that speaks a different language. A plane is like a magician's trick. Youget in a box and you come out somewhere totally different.

Nothing can beat the convenience of a plane. In the old days, it might take you days todo what the plane can do it an hour. Boats, for example, only leave on certain days of theweek and take a long time to get to their destination. Planes give you the option to leaveseveral times a day and get you to your destination quickly.

Although other forms of transportation may be more comfortable, none has changed theway we do business and live our lives more than the plane. Thanks to the speed, excitement, and convenience of the planes, our lives are richer.
