到了山顶，我们分好工，爸爸坑也刨好了，坑的宽度与竹筒的长度差不多，现在点火，爸爸拿打火机把柴点燃，放进坑里，我们都忙着往里面放柴。火开始还好好的可不知怎么就熄灭了。爸爸说：“柴放多了，造成缺氧，氧气可以帮助燃烧。”爸爸教导我杨一根不、木棍轻轻的把柴挑起来，然后用一片树叶扇，这样扇了一会儿，火又重新燃起来了。这时妈妈把竹筒横放在坑上面，不一会儿，竹筒里的水开了，水从竹筒里冒出来，把封口的.土豆挤了出来。我问爸爸这是怎么回事，爸爸说这时热胀冷缩的原理。竹筒饭终于好了，我拿了一根竹筒。虽然烫的我直吹，但是这种好奇心又使我把它切开。于是大家便津津有味的吃了起来。
虽然野炊已经过去了几个月，但我依然久久不能忘怀。他不仅给我带来了欢乐，还让我学到了知识。

I always want to go camping, because I think it is cool. But my parents think that I am too small to do it, so they refuse me. One day, I told my parents that my friends and I planned to go camping, the place was very close to my friend’s home. So my parents allowed me. 我总是想要去野营，因为我觉得这很酷。但是我的父母觉得我还太小，不适合，因此他们拒绝了我。有一天，我告诉父母我的朋友们和我计划去野营，地点是很临近朋友的家。因此我的父母允许我去野营。我很开心，我们搭建了帐篷，拿出我们准备的食物。当天黑了，我们就生活，又唱又跳，玩游戏玩得很开心。在我们睡觉前，我躺在帐篷里，和朋友们聊秘密。这是我第一次野营，我玩得很开心。
