often imagine what my life will be like in the future. I think my life will be very different in ten years. I will be twenty-eight years old by then. I will have my own family, probably with a lovely child. I hope I will work in a computer company as a program designer. I’ll enjoy my work and get along well with my colleagues. I’ll do a good job in whatever I do. In my free time, I’ll continue to take regular exercise, such as swimming, running and various ball games. On my holiday, I’ll travel around the world. In a word, my life will be much richer and more colorful.

Dear Future Me,
Happy 30th birthday! It’s me, your 20-year-old self. Do you still remember the day when you wrote this e-mail?
The other day, Rachel was having her 30th birthday, and she was stressed out thinking that she had achieved nothing. It reminded me that I should make resolutions about what I want to achieve before my 30th.
This idea got me to consider my future. Before, my life was marked with the only theme — college. Now, looking ahead, there will be people I have to get along with though I may hate them, and things I have to deal with which I used to regard as worthless. The way to get through is not cold war or stubbornness (固执) but compromise and communication.
What I am going to face is a society, not a locked classroom. So what are you doing? Do you still lock yourself up when you have trouble with people around?
I know I am shy and only focus my attention on study. But I sincerely hope that you are not like me, a mind easily affected by the outside world. After years of experience, hopefully you have risen out of that small world and hold a place of your own.
However, there are also things that I don’t want you to change. Are you still the guy who believes in his judgment and has faith in life? Remember: try to find something cheerful in spite of difficulties.
I hope you are the way I want to be. But no matter what you are doing or what your life is like, I’ll always encourage you. Just be happy and healthy. That’s all I asked for.

In ten years,I think I'll be a reporter.I'll live in Shanghai,because I went to Shanghai last year and fell in love with it.I think it's really a beautiful city.As a reporter,I think I will meet lots of interesting people.
I think I'll live in an apartment with my best friends, because I don't like living alone.I'll have pets.I can't have any pets now because my mother hates them and our apartment is too small.So in ten years,I'll have many different pets.I might even keep a pet parrot!
