Ladies and Gentlemen: Good morning!
I am very happy to participate in this English Summer Program because it helps me to improve my oral English.
Each day I arrive early for class; and sit in the first row which is nearest to the teacher so that I can hear the teacher clearly.
I have attended every class, not missed a single one, only because I cherish this opportunity to learn to speak English well.
Our teacher is a wonderful teacher. She speaks English slowly and clearly so that we can easily understand her. She tries hard to help us with pronunciation, intonation and rhythm and teaches us to speak English smoothly. She helps everyone with every difficult sound. She tells us stories and teaches us life skills, which will be useful to us in the future. She is very kind to us and we all love her.
In the beginning, many of our students were shy about standing up in front of the class to speak English, but with the help of our teacher; and with the encouragement of our teacher every one of our class can now stands up and speak English loudly.
Our teacher seems not to be an expert on languages. She does not tell us that the word “goodbye” originally means: ’god be with you’ or “god bless you” when we are talking about the basic expressions of saying goodbye. She does not tell us such things. She only teaches us every day English to help us to communicate with others. And that is just what I needed. So, this program has been very helpful to me. I hope there will be more such programs in the future so that many more people can benefit from it.
Now, I have a dream!
My dream is that one day I can go to America for a Chinese Summer program to teach Americans to speak Chinese and tell them about China.
My dream is that Chinese and Americans understand each other better, will be good friends forever!

English is a useful language all over the world. Why are we began to learn English when we were little children? Beacause it is very important for us to learn it.In the world, if you cannot speak English you will lose half a chance to success.
I began to learn English when I was 8 years old.At that moment,I do not like English.I connot remember all the words which I have learnt.I think it is very difficult for me to learn it well.So I cannot read English loudly and I never answer the questions in the English classes.
Even if my English is very bad, my teacher stll encourages me to learn English hard and he gives me some ways to learn English. He tells me to read passages loudly and listen to the English tapes everyday morning.In order to progress my writing he also asks me to write some articles at times. I like listen to the English songs,he suggests me to sing the English songs.As a result of his ways my English becomes well.
Now, I like English very well and I still use the ways he tells me.I know I must learn English even hard.

The romantic love story――The film describes a love story between a harlot and a rich man. It is a fairy story about Cinderella of modern version. Being the he-ro-in-e in a fairy tale seems to be the dream of every girl since very young. All girls are looking forward to romantic love stories descending on them. The more impossible the love is going to happen, the happier the girl to be, which is definitely decided by the nature of girls. The most impressed things came to me in the film were the hero’s (Richard Gere) character. He was charming, a real confident man, so perfect, so charming, however, that didn’t make you think he was conceited or he was pretend to be attractive. As a matter of fact, he is an indeed gentleman, with a natural gentle manner. His charm actually comes from his inner refinement. His personality is a great magnet to me.In the meanwhile, the difference between a rude woman and elegant women are obviously high lightened in this film, which I has paid attention to for a long time.
