our school is a modern senior middle school .in each classroom there is a computer which controls a projector. it is the pa-pe-rless teaching that the teacher attends class. students dive into it completely.

the environment in the school is also the most. there is a river in the school side. and water in river is limpid, in which there is several small fish and some shrimps etc.

the gym installations of our school are complete. she not only has a tartan track, a basketball court and a football field, but also has a tennis field ,a shuttlecock field ,a table tennis house and gymnasium etc . everything needed is there.

my school, my home

good afternoon, ladies and gentlemen! it’s my honor to stand here to give you my short speech. new century school is my second home. at school, i am just like a seed[si d]种子, it is going through wind and rain ,growing stronger and stronger under the sunshine.

when i am in trouble at school, my classmates will help me; when i study hard at my lessons, my teachers will teach me patiently; when i am lonely, my friends will talk with me; when i am upset, my friends will dry my tears; when i succeed, my teachers and my classmates will say congratulations[k n,grt 'le nz]祝贺 to me; when i do something wrong, people around me will help me correct it; when i do something right, they will feel happy for me. so many good things around me at school, i feel lucky and proud.

last week, i got a phone call from one of my friends who is studying abroad. she asked me if i am used to studying in new century school now. my answer is “yes!” i told her that i loved this school. because i am a member of this large family and i couldn’t find any other better place. i would like to say “thank you” to my lovely home. and i promised, “today i am a seed. tomorrow i will be a big tree, a big tree!”

my teachers are like my parents who are leading us to success. i still remembered the first english class this semester. our new english teacher asked us : “ what do you think of class six?” many of classmates shouted: “ we are the worst students.!” she said “your class is very smart, you’ll never know what you can do unless you try to make it happen.” we doubted at first. then, she encouraged us to join in the english short drama['drɑ m ] competition. we never thought that we would win the first prize. it turned out that she was right. we can make it! from then on, our class became interested in english. we are lucky, we will be better and better with those good teachers.
