想起她很突然。当时我正在外地，每天像陀螺一样不停地旋转，在闹哄哄的餐厅里慢悠悠地吃饭对我来说已是最大的享受。那天我正独自吃着午饭，她仿佛就隔着一桌又一桌的人，隔着20年的时间走了过来。

她是我的同学李伟的母亲，我们只有过一面之缘。那次开家长会，来了五六十位家长，我和几个女生负责接待。十三四岁的女孩实在不懂得如何接待大人，只是把家长迎进来，让座，倒水，稍有空闲，我们便凑在一起交头接耳地传递新闻。我记得其中一条是：“李伟的妈妈是北京人，说话和咱们不一样，特别好听。”

我循着她们的指点看过去，那是一位身材高挑的女人，衣着和发式都很普通，容貌也算不上漂亮，不过坐在那里就是显得与众不同，她偏偏没说话，正在认真地倾听另一位家长的高谈阔论。
