Helen lived with her sister Mary. Both of them were about seventy-five years old, and neither of them had ever married. We went to Thailand for our summer vacation last year. It was our first trip to Asia. We loved it. We spent a week in Bangkok and did some thing different everyday. We went to the floating market very early one morning. We didn’t buy anything there, we just looked. Another day, we went to WatPhraKeo, the famous Temple of the EmeraldBuddha. It was really interesting. Then we saw two more temples nearby. We also went on a river trip somewhere outside Bangkok. The best thing about the trip was the food. The next time we have friends over for dinner, I’m going to cook Thaifood.

Last summer, we spent our vacation in Thailand. We were very excited-it was our first trip there. We spent two day sinBangkok. Of course, we took a river bus to the floating market. We bought some delicious fruit there. The next day we went to a very interesting temple called the Temple of the Emerald Buddha. We didn’t have time to visit any other temples. However, we went to two historic cities-Ayuthaya and Sukhothai. Both have really interesting ruins. Everything was great. It’s hard to say what was the best thing about the trip.
