大学英语四级快速阅读作答技巧
快速阅读在大学英语四级的考试中的比重很大，我们可以通过一些技巧来作答阅读题。为此百分网小编为大家带来全国大学英语四级快速阅读部分的作答技巧。
英语四级快速阅读作答技巧：Skimming——略读
略读，顾名思义就是要求考生在较短时间内把握住文章某个段落的主题思想。我们首先来看一下2010年6月份快速阅读第一题：
1. What eventually made Carla Toebe realize she was spending too much time on the Internet?
A) Her daughter's repeated complaints.
B) Fatigue resulting from lack of sleep.
C) The poorly managed state of her house.
D) The high financial costs adding up.
一般来说快速阅读的第一题往往是针对文章的开头部分。以该题为例，基本上所有考生都能够定位到第一段。可是第一段到底应该怎么读就成了个大问题。
A few months ago, it wasn't unusual for 47-year-old Carla Toebe to spend 15 hours per day online. She'd wake up early, turn on her laptop and chat on Internet dating sites and instant-messaging programs – leaving her bed for only brief intervals. Her household bills piled up, along with the dishes and dirty laundry, but it took near-constant complaints from her four daughters before she realized she had a problem.
诚然，从头到尾“快速”读完确实是个办法——而且也是绝大多数考生使用的办法，但这样做完全失去了skimming的意义。换个角度来说，如果每个题目都像这样把段落读完，那么十道题加在一起所积累的阅读量势必将超过15分钟的大限。其实大部分文章的段落重点或者说中心都集中在首末句上。略读所要考察的就是考生是否敢于大胆抓住首末句，抛去段落中间的无效部分，从而迅速找到答案。以本题而言，该段最后一句，尤其是but之后的“it took near-constant complaints from her four daughters before she realized she had a problem”(直到她的四个女儿开始不断发出抱怨的时候她在开始意识到自己出问题了)就是答案所在位置。故而选择A选项。
再看2009年6月的快速阅读第六题：
6. What did Dale think of Mindsets LLC’s workshop?
A) It was well-intentioned but poorly conducted.
B) It tapped into the executives’ full potential.
C) It helped him make fair decisions.
D) It met participants’ diverse needs.
这道题在当年得分率非常低。原因就在于这道题对应的可能段落有两段而不是一段(省略号表示段落略去部分，下文同此例)：
“I had a management position open in my department ;and the two finalists were a man and a woman . Had I not attended this workshop , I would have automatically assumed the man was the best candidate because the position required quite a bit of extensive travel . …”Dale’s assumptions are another example of the well-intentioned but incorrect thinking that limits an organization’s ability to tap into the full potential of a diverse workforce .
“I learned from the class that instead of imposing my gender biases into the situation , I needed to present the full range of duties, responsibilities and expectations to all candidates and allow them to make an informed decision .” Dale credits the workshop , “because it helped me make decisions based on fairness .”
这道题目的要求更高。考生不仅要知道重点在两个段落的首末句上，还需要结合题目所问，对这四个句子孰轻孰重作出预先判断，然后再进行阅读。题目问的是Dale对这个研讨班的看法。据此看来一段第一句无效，因其起始部分讲到的是Dale在公司的position(职位)。同样该段末句也无效，Dale’s assumptions——讲的是Dale原先的一些错误想法和做法。很可惜的是当年不少考生都在这两个句子上耗费了大量时间，甚至还有个别考生通读该段，这样自然是得不偿失。
再来看下一段的第一句，I learned from the class that instead of imposing my gender biases into the situation(我通过学习知道不能把自己的性别比、偏见带到工作中去)。这句话有用吗?显然也不行。因为它所讲到的是Dale在学习班里的收获。最后一句说道“because it helped me make decisions based on fairness”(因为这个研讨班让我能做出公平的选择)。读到这里第六题的答案也就顺理成章的选择C了。
2010年6月第七题：
7. Andrew Heidrich now visits websites that discuss online gaming addiction to __________.
A) improve his online gaming skills
B) curb his desire for online gaming
C) show how good he is at online gaming
D) exchange online gaming experience
这道题和上述第六题颇有些相像。它对应的段落，也就是出现了Heidrich这个人物的段落，同样也是两段：
Andrew Heidrich, an education network administrator from Sacramento, plays World of Warcraft for about two to four hours every other night, but that's nothing compared with the 40 to 60 hours a week he spent playing online games when he was in college. He cut back only after a full-scale family intervention (干预), in which relatives told him he'd gained weight.
"There's this whole culture of competition that sucks people in" with online gaming, said Heidrich, now a father of two. "People do it at the expense of everything that was a constant in their lives." Heidrich now visits websites that discuss gaming addiction regularly "to remind myself to keep my love for online games in check."
如果读者朋友掌握了我们刚才所讲的方法自然就会觉得这题就比较轻松了。同样是抓住两个段落的四个重点句，然后根据题干进行判断。分析过程这里就不再赘述。很明显第二段最后一句是符合要求的。Heidrich now visits websites that discuss gaming addiction regularly "to remind myself to keep my love for online games in check."(Heidirch现在经常浏览那些探讨网友成瘾问题的网站，不时提醒自己克制对网游的喜爱。)所以答案选择B。
通过上面三个例子的分析，我们不难看出四级快速阅读略读相对而言是比较容易掌握的。在确定出对应段落后直接分析它的首末句就可以了。只不过个别难题还要求结合题干逐一对照比较分析，在若干个首末句当中挑选出最合适的。还有一点不知道读者朋友有没有发现，实际上，在首句和末句当中最后能够充当答案的往往还是最后一句。记住这个小规律了对于提高解题速度也大有帮助。
英语四级快速阅读作答技巧：懂得取舍的心态
在做快速阅读的时候，保持能够懂得取舍的心态非常重要。
一是在看文章的时候懂得取舍，文章的标题要仔细慢慢看，文章的开头要细细看，都是为了把握文章主题，理清文章结构思路，一旦主题结构明确了必须要放弃精细阅读，马上转向题干，根据题干要求在文章中先找关键词的定位出处，有了定位再读定位附近的信息，凡是与题干没有直接关系的信息，不必精读细读，舍得跳读，才能争取到更多的时间来读真正与题目相关有用信息，才能有更多的时间来做题。
二是在做题中懂得取舍，如果在做题中发现某一题定位非常困难，根本找不到的话，千万不要恋战，千万不要在文章中漫无目的的反复精读。一道题定位找不到，马上跳到下一题，一道题很犹豫选哪个选项，一定把犹豫的两个选项都写在题号前，就马上开始做下一题，等其他题目都做完了，还有时间做就再回文章中找，没时间做，就一定选一个和文章主题最接近的选项，正确的几率很大。比如本文的第2题：
What does the author say about digital textbooks? 作者认为电子教科书怎样?这道题可以是一道细节题直接在文章找到定位就直接出答案，也可以是一道主旨题，需要找作者的观点和立场。Digital textbooks第一次出现在第3段Which is why digital textbooks, if they live up to their promise, could help ease many of these shortcomings. But till now, they've been something like a mirage (幻影) in the distance, more like a hazy (模糊的) dream than an actual reality. Imagine the promise: Carrying all your textbooks in a 1.3 pound iPad? It sounds almost too good to be true. 这就是为什么电子教科书可以帮助解决很多缺点的原因。但是，截止到目前为止，它们仍然是一个远处的幻影，与其说是现实不如说更像是个模糊的梦。想象一下它的承诺吧，"把所有的教科书都放在一个1.3磅的iPad里"，听上去好得难以置信。
如果仅仅根据第3段的表述，A和B选项很难取舍，A) It is not likely they will replace traditional textbooks.它们不可能在未来取代传统教科书，B) They haven't fixed all the shortcomings of print books.它们并没有解决印刷版教科书的所有缺点。当两个选项很难取舍，而且作者在下文中也没有作进一步解释的话，不妨先把AB两个选项都写在第2题的题号前，考生可以试着通过下文的阅读进一步加深对文章的理解，通过更精确把握作者的观点和立场来解题。这时，考生一定要舍得跳到下一题，而不要在这一道题上停留太长的时间。
当把第10题做完时，还剩下全文的最后一段However, the solution to any problem begins with a step in a direction. And at least for now, that hazy mirage in the distance? A little more tangible (可触摸的'), a little less of a dream.但是，解决任何问题都要从朝着这个目标迈进的第一步开始。至少目前来看，这个远方的海参蜃楼，又朝着现实迈进了一小步。可以看出，作者对于digital textbooks明显持一个乐观支持的态度，那么，第2题的A选项认为不可能取代传统教科书明显是与作者立场相悖，利用排除法，第2题答案选B。
在做题中学会取舍，才不会造成因为一两道题导致大量题目没时间做的人间悲剧。
英语四级快速阅读答题技巧
1.猜：略标题，猜大意。
这里的"略"是指"略读"，略读的内容包括文章的标题、副标题、小标题及段首句、段尾句;"猜"并不是漫无目的的乱猜，而是根据上述略读内容，快速推测文章的文体、大意以及文章中可能出现的内容。
例如： 在2008 年6 月的真题中，在快速略读了标题Media Selection for Advertisements 和Television，Newspapers，Radio，Magazines，Out-of-home advertising，Internet，Direct mail 七个小标题后，可以了解这篇文章涉及"媒体"和"广告"两个主体。文章的首段第一句是"After determining the target audience for a product or service, advertising agencies must select the appropriate media for the advertisement."读完此句，便可以猜测文章大意是讨论电视、报纸、广播等七种媒体广告所具有的不同特点和效度。了解大意之后，接下来就可以把视线转向文章后面的题目。
2.划：读题干，划关键。
这一步的核心是在题干中划出题干中有区别性特征的两个左右的关键词，目的是快速确定题干所涉及内容在文章中的位置以便迅速查找到有效信息。关键词的寻找至关重要，直接关系到能否在文章中在正确定位题干。程程在此提供两种主要的划法。
(1)关键词应该选择题干中的新话题或核心信息，而不要选择文章中反复出现的单词。
例如2008年6月快速阅读的第1题题干为：
Television is an attractive advertising medium in that ___________ .
本句的话题是"Television"，可以直接通过小标题"Television"来定位该题位于文章第一个小标题下。"advertising medium"不是新信息，而"attractive"是体现电视这个媒体特征的核心信息，适合作关键词。
(2)还要在题干中寻找姓名，地点方位，公司名称，时间等能快速定位的单词。姓名、地点及公司名称有个显著的特点，即首字母均为大写。而时间多以数字出现，在文字众多的篇章里，数字信息会格外醒目。
例如：12年12月快速阅读中第3题题干为：
What is said about the schools funded by the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation?
此题中，Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation即为关键定位词，直接将答案定位于原文第三段第三行。
再如：12年6月快速阅读中第6题题干为：
What can we learn about Hillsdale's students in the late 1990s?
此题中，除了人名"Hillsdale"属于定位信息外，1990s也是定位得关键。
3.找：回头看，找复现。
划定了关键词之后就可以回头读文章，查找关键词的复现，以便确定需要重点阅读的内容范围。在"定位型细节题中"关键词在文章中是以原词形式复现的。
如2010年12月快速阅读中第3题题干为：
What does a study in Sweden show?
根据上面的方法，通过定位关键词"a study in Sweden",可将信息定位到原文第4段"A study in Sweden indicated"处。
4.验：比题干，前后验。
在文章中找到了关键词，需要将其涉及的前后句子精读，结合题干选项进行比对，找出最佳选择。
例如， 2011年6月快速阅读第5题为：
What do Hong Kong diners welcome, according to Welsh executive chef David Tamlyn?
A.Authentic classic cuisine
B.Locally produced ingredients
C.New ideas and presentations
D.The return of home-style dishes
通过定位关键词"David Tamlyn"，将答案定位在原文第8段，"Hong Kong diners are extremely responsible to new ideas or presentations.故选择C答案。
