这两个名词都可表示楼房的“层”，但含义有区别。
Floor表示房间的“地板、地面”，建筑物的“楼层”。例如：
There was a dog lying on the floor.有一条狗躺在地板上。
He lives on the third floor.他住在3楼。[（英）4楼]。
storey(英)=story(美)表示“楼层”，指层与层之间的空间。例如：
He wives in a house of two stories.他住的是2层楼的房子。
The family lives on the third story.这一家人住在3楼。
Our lab is on the third floor of a six-story building.我们的实验在一幢6层楼房的第3层。
