大学英语六级考试技巧
英语六级开始最早是华东石油学院(中国石油大学东营校区)的校内广泛流行的一种英语水平测试。现在已经是由教育部主管的考试了。下面是小编整理的六级考试技巧，希望能帮到大家!
听力
为了适应新的形势下社会对大学生英语听力能力需求的变化，进一步提高听力测试的效度，全国大学英语四、六级考试委员会自2016年6月考试起将对四、六级考试的听力试题作局部调整。调整的相关内容说明如下：①取消短对话 ②取消短文听写 ③新增短篇新闻(3段),其余测试内容不变。
建议：趁着离考试还有几天时间，可以把往届的英语听力听一遍，可以适应起相应的听力节奏;考试时，先大致用眼睛浏览一遍，有个概念。在开始后，要注意捕捉每篇文章或每一段开头的`一句话。在长对话中，要注意一些小细节是需要着重去听的，例如but、then等逻辑词。
阅读理解
阅读理解部分包括1篇长篇阅读和3篇仔细阅读，测试学生在不同层面上的阅读理解能力，包括理解篇章或段落的主旨大意和重要细节、综合分析、推测判断以及根据上下文推测词义等能力。该部分所占分值比例为35%，其中长篇阅读占10%，仔细阅读占25%。考试时间40分钟。
长篇阅读部分采用1篇较长篇幅的文章，总长度四级约1000词，六级约1200词。阅读速度四级约每分钟100词;六级约每分钟120词。篇章后附有10个句子，每句一题。每句所含的信息出自篇章的某一段落，要求考生找出与每句所含信息相匹配的段落。有的段落可能对应两题，有的段落可能不对应任何一题。
仔细阅读部分要求考生阅读3篇短文。2篇为多项选择题型的短文理解测试，每篇长度四级为300-350词，六级为400-450词;1篇为选词填空，篇章长度四级为200-250词，六级为250-300词。短文理解每篇后有若干个问题，要求考生根据对文章的理解，从每题的四个选项中选择最佳答案。选词填空要求考生阅读一篇删去若干词汇的短文，然后从所给的选项中选择正确的词汇填空，使短文复原。
建议:我们常说自己阅读理解中“蒙”的水平很好，而今天就来教教大家怎么“蒙”，遇到生词的时候，不要慌，可以选择性跳过，在阅读完第一、二段的时候可以去看题目了，如果没有接着三、四段看下去，以此类推。遇到不熟悉的关键词，根据举例猜测词义。

The consequences of epochal events such as wars and great scientific discoveries are not confined to a small geographical area as they were in the past. 句中“战争”和“重大科学发现”是生词的实例，通过它们我们可以猜出epochal的大致词义“重要的”，这与其确切含义“划时代的”十分接近。
如果时间紧迫的话，可以先照着自己的理解，把题目做下去，平复心情后，在回过头来在原文中找线索。
翻译
翻译部分测试学生把汉语所承载的信息用英语表达出来的能力，所占分值比例为15%，考试时间30分钟。翻译题型为段落汉译英。翻译内容涉及中国的历史、文化、经济、社会发展等。四级长度为140-160个汉字，六级长度为180-200个汉字。
建议：先把句子的主干翻译过来，在加上其他成分。在有把握的情况下，相应的将词进行替换。
作文
写作部分测试学生用英语进行书面表达的能力，所占分值比例为15%，考试时间30分钟。写作测试选用考生所熟悉的题材，要求考生根据所提供的信息及提示(如：提纲、情景、图片或图表等)写出一篇短文，四级120-180词，六级150-200词。
建议：多背几篇有代表性的范文，到时候考到类似题型的时候，有选择性的代入即可。

As can be seen in the table, there have been great changes in people’s diet in the past five years. During the five years, the consumption of grain decreased by 4%, while that of meat and milk increased by 4% and 3% respectively. From the figures we can draw the conclusion that grain, as the staple food in China, is playing a less important role in people’s diet, while the consumption of high-energy food, such as meat and milk, has increased steadily.
What caused these changes? I think the reasons are as follows: First, the open policy brings the people opportunities to earn a lot of money. Second, people nowadays pay more attention to the structure of their diet. They are seeking the most reasonable diet structure, which will do good to their health.
From the above, we can see that, with the development of the country, people’s living standard has greatly improved in the five years. We can also expect better living standard and more reasonable diet structure in the future.
