Calls to use technology for big decisions in football are coming thick and fast at the FIFA World Cup — the game’s greatest event. These follow two totally wrong refereeing(裁判的)decisions that marred the games between Germany and England, and Argentina and Mexico. In the first game, a shot by England player Frank Lampard clearly crossed the goal line by a metre. Neither the referee nor his officials saw it so no goal was given.
