　　英国留学办信用卡的知识

　　必要性：方便国外生活

　　出国留学，为了使在国外的生活更加方便，建议大家出国留学前一定要办一张Visa或Master国际信用卡。国际卡有多种信用额度，钱存在卡里，就可以在国外直接消费。大部分银行推出的国际卡是含人民币和美元两个币种的双币信用卡，还有的银行推出了英镑卡、日元卡、美元卡等。一般来说，使用留学目的地国家货币的信用卡当然最佳，因为不需要收取任何手续费，而如果你在英国使用以美元结算的国际卡，就可能会被收取一定的兑换手续费。对此，各银行费率标准不一，可以咨询后办理。

　　消费理性：副卡消费更理性

　　一般出国留学，我们都建议大家主卡、附属卡搭配使用。家长在自己的信用卡名下申请一张附属卡供子女在国外使用，并根据留学目的地国家的消费水平来设置适当信用额度。这样一来，没有信用记录的学生也能拥有自己的信用卡，逐步树立在信用额度内控制自己花销的理财观。家长还可以通过交易短信提示和银行月结单了解孩子的花费情况，帮助他们培养理性消费的意识，让留学生按时还款保证良好信用记录，还要及时查询了解自己的信用现状。

　　安全性：安全用卡防盗刷

　　留学一般以银行卡形式携汇出境，平日消费也以刷卡为主，可充分保障人身和财产的安全。在日常生活中，大家一定要小心保管卡片，卡片丢失或遇到非授权交易时马上向发卡行挂失或报备。国内申请外币信用卡建议大家应选择EMV标准升级芯片，目前，很多国家都已经完成了银行卡系统的EMV标准升级，因此在国内申请外币信用卡时，应尽量选择符合该标准的银行芯片卡，防止磁条复制，保证刷卡安全。如万事达卡组织特别为网上刷卡消费设计了“Secure Code验证”和风险“零责任”条款，使海外持卡人能够安全享受网上支付的便利。
