　　1.You blow it!

　　你把事情搞砸了!

　　We could have got the deal , but you blew the whole thing!

　　我们原本可以达成那笔交易的, 但是你把整个事情都搞砸了!

　　2. Get lost !

　　滚开吧!

　　Why don't you get lost? You filthy scum!

　　这个没用的东西, 为什么不离我远一点呢?

　　filthy 是脏的意思。scum则指「污垢」、「废物」。

　　3. Get on a person's nerves !

　　把某人惹毛

　　You're really getting on my nerves.

　　你真的`把我惹火了喔!

　　nerve 除了「神经」, 还有「胆量」的意思。如 "He had the nerve to say that." 他竟然有胆说那种话。

　　4. hard feelings 怨气

　　Man, I'm really sorry about what happened last night.

　　老兄啊! 昨晚的事真是抱歉...

　　It's all right. It's over with. No hard feelings.

　　没关系。已经过去了。没什么好生气了。

　　It's over with" 是「已经过去了」。结束某种不愉快的情绪, 可以用「get over」。如 "I know you were mad at him for what he had done. But, it has been five years. Get over it." 我知道你很气他所作的事, 但是这已经是五年前的事了, 你应该释怀了。

　　5. at the top of one's lungs

　　大声喊

　　I'm here right in front of you. Why are you yelling at me at the top of your lungs?

　　实用口语练习:背后捅刀

　　1、 Get off my back. 不要管我!

　　Why don't you get off my back? You've been bitching at me all night.

　　你为何不让我一个人安静一下? 你整个晚上都在抱怨我。

　　"bitch" 是「母狗」的意思, 也有人用来骂「凶悍的女子」"bitch" 还有「抱怨」的意思,

　　"Why are you so bitchy today?"

　　你今天怎么好象是吃错药似的, 抱怨个不停?

　　2、leave someone alone ! 不干涉; 听其自然

　　Isn't it about time Jane visited her hairdresser? Her bangs are hanging all over her face now.

　　Jane 该去见她的美发师了吧! 她的浏海都(长到)垂到脸上了。

　　Leave her alone. Maybe she likes to have her eyes covered so she doesn't have to see your face.

　　妳管她! 也许她希望(头发长到)把眼睛盖住, 好看不见你的脸啊!

　　"leave me alone" 和上一句中的 "Get off my back" 意思很像, 都有要求别人「不要管」的意思。"hairdresser" 是花时间整理你头发的「美发师」; "barber" 则是收费低廉, 5分钟就把你的头发剪好送出门的「理发师」。

　　3、stab a person in the back 背后捅刀; 出卖某人

　　I can't believe my best friend stabbed me in the back.

　　我不敢相信我最好的朋友竟然出卖我。

　　"stab a person in the back" 和 "sell a person out" 都是「出卖某人」的意思。

　　4、 take it out on a person 向某人泄怒

　　Be angry all you want. Don't take it out on me. I didn't do anything.

　　你尽量生气, 别把气出在我头上就是了。我又没怎样。

　　"Don't vent your anger on me." 也是「别把气出在我头上」的意思。

　　实用口语练习:不得不分

　　1、It is really not working.

　　我们的感情真的行不通。

　　2、I am over you

　　我和你之间结束了。

　　I am all over you

　　我对你非常着迷。

　　3、We have grown apart.

　　我们都各自成长了。

　　4、The magic is gone from our relationship.

　　我们之间的爱情魔力已经不见了。

　　5、I think we should just be friend.

　　我想我们之间还是做朋友好了。

　　6、You are really too good for me

　　我真的配不上你。

　　另一种表达：I don’t deserve you.

　　7、I had fallen out with my girlfriend.

　　我不理我的女朋友了。

　　8、We decided to break up, to be more precise she dumped me.

　　我们决定分手了，更确切的说是她甩了我。

　　实用口语练习:口语当中的ball

　　① We all wore festive costumes to the ball.

　　我们都穿着节日的盛装前去参加舞会。

　　在这个句子中，ball是“舞会”的意思。

　　②短语on the ball表示的是“有知识，有才华，办事利索”等意思。

　　He is a teacher who is really on the ball. 他是个了不起的老师。

　　那么，由此类推，have nothing on the ball就是“没有才华，办事不利”的意思了。

　　a student who has nothing on the ball 学得一塌糊涂的学生

　　③有时候，我们还会用ball这个词来指代某件事情或者某个任务，比如：

　　The ball is in your court now. 现在球已到你那边了。(言下之意即得由你做决定了)

　　I am glad you have started the ball rolling. 很高兴你把这事推动起来了。

　　④ 我们知道fireball是“火球”的意思，在日常表达中其实也常常引申为“成功、热情、精力旺盛”之意。例如：

　　I hope John will join us, he is a fireball (or he is a ball of fire). 我希望约翰能加入我们，他是个精力旺盛的人。

　　⑤ a ball of fortune fortune有“命运”的意思，a ball of fortune就是被命运踢来踢去的球，引申为受命运摆布的人，命运多舛的人。例如：

　　He has been a ball of fortune from his childhood. 从童年开始他就是一个命运多舛的人。

　　⑥ have (onself) a ball 在口语中是玩得开心，玩得痛快的意思，相当于我们常说的have a good time

　　1. Is something on your mind?

　　你担心什么呢?

　　Do you have something on your mind?

　　What's on your mind?

　　2. Why are you so glum?

　　你怎么看起来闷闷不乐的？

　　Glum:忧郁的

　　3. Why the long face? （Why do you have such a long face?）

　　你怎么看起来这么不高兴呢？

　　Why do you seem so unhappy?

　　4. You're not yourself today.

　　你今天有点心神不宁。

　　You don't seem to be yourself today.

　　5. Who are you irritated with?

　　谁惹你生气了？

　　Be irritated with 的意思是“为……而急躁，为……而发怒”。
