Censor, 意思是审查后删减，通常指删减掉电影，网络，书籍中被认为影响不良的内容。最近美国好几个网站强烈抗议国会的反盗版提案。
"Critics from websites such as Wiki pedia and Google say the bills would censor the Web and threaten freedom of expression," 维基百科和谷歌等网站表示，这个议案将审查互联网，对言论自由造成威胁。互联网之父Tim Berners-Lee也加入到抗议浪潮中。
"Tim says the government's plan to censor the Internet violates human rights," 他表示，审查网络的.提案违反人权。在censor后面加上ship, censorship变成名词，就是审查制度。
"The US condemned Iran for its Internet censorship," 美国谴责伊朗对网络实行审查。
