To reduce their own risks, large companies are turning to software that can combine basic analysis with so-called rule processing, which allows executives to drill down into the books and automatically launches investigations when unusual entries cannot be explained away by such factors as staff level changes.

The Two Towers

The adventures continue in part two of The Lord of the Rings.

A Unique Film
J.R.R.Tolkien's fantasy trilogy, The Lord of the Rings, has captivated readers since the late 1950s. The books have been translated into 26 languages and sold more than 50 million copies. Many readers name it the best book of the 20th century.

Making a film of the story proved quite an undertaking. It became the largest movie project in history. It was also the first time three movies in a series had been filmed at the same time. A crew of 2,500 people worked on the movies filmed in spectacular New Zealand.

Like the first film, The Two Towers will probably be another three-hour movie. Tolkien originally wrote The Lord of the Rings as a single book. Against his wishes, his publishers divided the story into three books. Imagine how long a single movie of the story would have been!

The end of The Two Towers will also leave audiences hanging. The story still has one more part. Everyone must wait another year for the final installment, Return of the King. Eager Tolkien fans are already counting the days!

Questions for Discussion :
Why do you think these movies are so popular?
