Delegates to the on-going Party National Congress all say the inclusion of President Jiang Zemin's “Three Represents” important thinking into the Party Constitution is the biggest aspiration of party members as well as billions of Chinese people.

Delegates to the 16th Party Congress believe the incorporation of this new theory developed over the past 13 years into the Party Constitution holds great significance to the consolidation and progress of party building, consolidating the both Party itself and its ties with the people.

They also hail the “Three Represents” thought as a scientific generalization of the experience of the past 80 years, and it will serve as a guiding thought in new situations and to cope with new tasks.

Spotlight on Bergen,Norway

Sights and sounds in and around Norway's most famous seaside city

Lots of Fish
As you explore the area, carry an umbrella. The city gets two meters (80 inches) of rain a year. All that rain keeps the area nice and green, but doesn't spoil Bergen's charm.

Plan to spend an hour or two in Bergen's colorful fish market. Here you'll find Bergen's answer to fast food--freshly fried fish cakes. You'll see rows of red lobster and silvery salmon as well as mounds of pink shrimp. Buy a bag of shrimp and eat them while watching the boats in the harbor.

If you prefer live fish, take a short ferry ride over to Bergen's aquarium. It has one of the finest collections of marine life in Europe. Thousands of fish swim in large tanks, and penguins and seals play in large outdoor pools. While you're there, see the movie about Bergen. It's shown on a 360-degree screen.

Away from the harbor, Bergen spreads out over seven mountains. Take a cable car to the top of Ulriken, the highest of the seven. You won't believe the awesome panoramic view!
Questions for Discussion:
What is the most beautiful sight you have ever seen?
