英语作文-Express Rubbish

　　An expressman was ridding a motorbike carrying piles of boxes. Following was a hill of express rubbish--paper boxes, plastic bags, gummed tapes, etc. The expressman was moving on and ignored the people who have been submerged by the rubbish.

　　The picture warns us that a serious environmental problem is facing Chinese society. For its cheapness and efficiency, over package has been a conventional packing measure for express companies to protect commodities from being hurt during transport. As we know, paper is green material, however, even if the used boxes are all recycled, the rate of reuse can’t be over 80%, let alone the rate of recycling, which is actually less than 10%. The waste of resources abounds. On the other hand, the non-degraded rubbish, i.e. plastic bags and tapes, pollutes the environment continually. Thanks to the thriving e-commerce, daily produced tapes rubbish alone can wind the earth over 400 times.

　　Express companies should be blame, but the root is people’s weak sense of environmental protection. Therefore, besides the packing reform in Express, to popularize garbage sorting and resource recycling should turn into an urgent duty. And it is time for scientists to design new packing measures by enhancing the function of green material. Hopefully, over package could gradually disappear through joint efforts.
