Ladies and gentlemen, Good morning! I’m very glad to stand here and give you a short speech about A bright future in Dongguan.
Dongguan is the fourth biggest city of Guangdong. It is a beautiful city with a long history .It is a national civilized city and a national garden city. Also it is an excellent Tourism city. I’m very proud of being a member of Dongguan. I believe that, in the future, Dongguan will become one of the most suitable for busineand livable cities.
Firstly, transportation will be more convenient day by day. Now the government of Dongguan is building light rails. Light rail routes will almost go through all over the city.At the end of this year they will be finished. After that people will be able to go anywhere faster .
Secondly, Open-door policy will import more and more foreign merchants to invest. It will improve the economic development.
Thirdly, Food will be safer. Our government is trying to solve food safety problems. Safe food will make people healthier.
Fourthly, our environment will become more and more beautiful. Government is spending much money building a green city and green ways. Everyone can protect the environment. The dirty water from factories won’t run into the rivers. Pollution will be reduced. The sky will be bluer The rivers will be cleaner and the air will be fresher. Dongguan, I love you .I’m sure you will be brighter and brighter . That’s all. Thank you.

Hi，everyone.Today my topic is about environmental protection.
Today the quality of our natural environment has become an important issue. The world population is rising so quickly that the world has become too crowded.
We are using up our natural resources and at the same time polluting our environment with dangerous chemicals. If we continue to do this, life on earth cannot survive.
Pollution has been a serious problem for a certain time around the world. There are many causes for it. Transportation is the main factor of pollution. When the waste gas from cars is released, the air is polluted. People breathing in the polluted air can develop respiratory disease. Another factor is that
people throw their garbage everywhere. All kinds of garbage not only spoil the splendid environment, but also cause environmental pollution. Wastewater from factories is also poured into rivers and this causes water pollution
Concerned people have made some progrein environmental protection. Governments of many countries have established laws to protect the air, forests and sea resources and to stop environmental pollution.
Still more measures should be taken to solve environmental problems. People should be further educated to recognize the importance of the problems, to use modern methods of birth control, to conserve our natural resources and recycle our products. We are sure that we can have a better and cleaner place in the future.
