Ladies and gentlemen:
What is a dream ?
the dreams are like small seeds planted in your hearts; like the beacon in the sea that lead you to your destinations. like the sunshine drives the shadow away,
As we all know, the world has dramatically changed when James Watt invented the first steam engine, when Isaac Newton discovered the universal gravitation after hit by an apple, when Karl Marx wrote The Communist Manifesto, when Chairman Mao solemnly declared the establishment of the People's Republic of China on the Tian'an men Rostrum, when Martin Luther King cried out “I have a dream”. Dream is invisible, untouchable but strong enough things.
When we were little kids, we all dreamed of doing something big and splashy, something significant. Now what we need to do is to maintain them, refresh them and turn them into reality. However, the toughest part is that we often have no ideas how to translate these dreams into actions. Well, just start with concrete goals and stick to them. Don’t let the unseen fear confuse the eyes and confound our strong beliefs of future. Through our talents, through our wits, through our endurance and through our creativity, we can make it.
Nowadays, China Dream is a heated topic all over our country. So what is the China Dream?
Generally speaking, For ordinary people they hope to gain better education, improve better housing conditions and better environment ,more stable jobs and more income, greater social security, better medical and health care .
As a new generation , every one here shoulders the great historical mission of making China more powerful and stronger. Since China dream means the combination of everyone’s dream, and the realization of each person’s dream is the realization of China Dream. It is known to us that the wiser the youths are ,the wiser the nation will be；the stronger the youths are ,the stronger the nation will be.
Dreams changed us, and therefore we could change the world. It is dream
that refreshes the world every day. It is also dream that makes the world improve day by day, Let’s join hands to strive for the rejuvenation of our country.!

Hello everybody!
I am very glad to stand here to give you a short speech!Today my topic is Chinese dream
First I want to ask you some questions:
1Do you know what is Chinese dream
2what is your Chinese dream?
Chinese dream
Chinese dream was put forward by chairman xi last year in order to direct Chinese to a clear future.For the whole nation, it means increasing the level of living.For every single Chinese , it means realizing the value of lifeThe realization of the whole nation’s dream can not be separated from everybody’s own dream. Only by everyone’s efforts can we make the nationy’s dream come true.
For our young people, we are supposed to have our own dream. What is dream? The famous Chinese economist LangXianPing has ever said that:”Please do not expect too munch about Chinese students, because they don’t have dream. They only want to find a common job to earn money for a house or a car. They only have a target、purpose、or goal. They don’t have dream. Purpose is not dream.
Dream is developed by your warm heart instead of cheating your eyes in the excuse of earning money! A dream is a clear spiritual lighthouse that gives out direction when you do not know what to expect in the days ahead and offers comfort and support when you become doubtful of yourself.
So, it’s time that we took our measures to fight for our Chinese dream!

Chinese dreamMy dream
Everyday when I wake up in the morning, I always take a overlook to the east. The sun rises from the lake, the water glinted in the sunlight, which indulged me in pleasures without stop. Whenever this moment, I tell myself, the new day comes with hope. As the old saying goes, A man should be independent at the age of thirty. So I ask myself, on the journey to my thirty years old, what should I do to be independent? Or, what is my dream?
Firstly, let’s look back at our country. The country takes on a new face since the implementation of the policy of reform and opening up. The development of China really shocked the world. She’s getting stronger and more harmonious, the Chinese people is getting more rich and more confident. But that’s not enough, China didn’t remain satisfied with the achievements it has already made. In this great era, China put forward a new dream to the world. It’s Chinese dream!
President Xi Jinping interprets Chinese dream as the great revitalization of the Chinese nation. This is the greatest dream of The Chinese nation since the modern times. As far as I’m concerned, in the final analysis Chinese dream is Chinese people’s dream. On one hand, the realization of Chinese dream rely on that of everybody; On the other hand, people’s dream will become more significant when it’srooted in
Chinese dream.
As a student in such a great era, my dream is going back to rural, to the basic level of the country. And trying my best to serve the people there, to make them have a more rich, more comfortable, and more confident life. As the trend of job hunting shown, more and more people rush to Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou and other developed cities to find a job. You know, maybe it seems respectable. So, when I told you that I will go back to the rural, you may be surprised and ask me why.
Well, the story trace back to my grandfather. At that time, our country is still in a backward state. And my grandfather’s dream is plain and ordinary, he just want to help the villagers to deal the problem of food and clothing. As a party member, he rooted in the rural for more than fifty years. He helped villagers building houses, developing aquaculture industry, and lead them to pray for harvest. Gradually, he win the respect of all, which impressed me greatly.
My father born and grow up in the great age of reform and opening up, and the country provide so many chances that my father could move to the city and have his cause. But he didn’t forget his hometown, he helped the villagers building the road, which made his contributions to the villagers.
The story of my family make me awake to that the realization of personal value depend on the contributions he make to the society. So I
decide to go back to the rural without hesitation.
According to official statistics, fifty-six percent of Chinese live in the countryside. So only the villagers get more richer, more confident, the stronger our country get.
A single flower does not make a spring. As young man, we should respond to the call to devote ourselves to where need us mostly. We ought to serve the villagers with our knowledge, our activity, and with our enthusiasm. As long as we devoted ourselves to the development of the basic level, I believe Chinese dream will welcome in spring.
As ayoung man, I will not be hesitate, I will not be afraid, and I will not abandon the harsh conditions, because I keep it in my mind that where there's a will, there's a way. Just like my father and grandfather, I will remember gratitude and dedication, devote to the rural, and try my best to help the villagers to realize their dreams.
As president Xi Jinping said, we will mount a long wind some day and break the heavy waves. So, I believe my dream will come true, I believe our dream of rural will come true, and I believe our Chinese dream will finally come true!
