　　We have received positive response from the international community since the official invitation to Expo 2010 Shanghai China signed by Premier Wen Jiabao was sent through diplomatic channels to the countries and international organizations concerned on March 22, 2006. As of yesterday, _____countries and international organizations have confirmed their participation in Expo 2010 and we regard this as a great encouragement. Therefore, I would like to take this opportunity to extend my heartfelt gratitude to all countries for their participation in and support of Expo 2010 Shanghai China。

　　We have also received positive response from the international community since our invitation to the first participants meeting was sent through diplomatic channels on September 11, 2006. Today, ____representatives from ______countries and international organizations have joined us at this meeting. 　　The world Exposition is a grand occasion for people from different countries to get together, know each other exchange ideas, and develop friendship. It is also a major arena where new thoughts and inspirations of the mankind are conceived, developed and turned into real productivity. Hosting Expo 2010 Shanghai China is a historical opportunity for China, for Shanghai, and for the cause of World Exposition. The succeof Expo 2010 will be of great significance to China in accelerating its reform and opening for a faster economic development, in expanding its communication and cooperation with other countries in the world, and in further promoting its international presence. Therefore, to host a successful, splendid and unforgettable Expo 2010 is regarded by the Chinese government as a major milestone in China’s social and economic progreduring the first decade of the new century; it is also a priority for Shanghai municipal government over the next five years. We will encourage the involvement of the general public and use all resources available in Shanghai, from acroChina and abroad in our Expo preparation. By relying on the collective wisdom and strengths of people all over the world, and with all favorable factors and resources brought into play, we will make all efforts to plan, prepare for and host an excellent Expo that is human-centered and future-oriented, featuring state-of-the-art innovations in science and technology and multi-cultures。

Jointly sponsored by China Remote Sensing Association, undertaken by Remote Sensing Institution of NUIST at Nanjing, the first International Conference on Remote Sensing technology , will be open. 　　It is a great honor for us to have all you here to attend this conference, of which the theme is the academic exchange about the advanced technologies on RS. Here I’d be delighted to introduce our conventioneers in brief. Apart from our faculty and students, Most of the delegates and guests are prestigious experts and scientists, who are related in these fields from all over the world. With many significant achievements, they are the most dynamic leaders in the movements of the science and technology. As the host, I would like to take this opportunity to give you a general introduction about our school. Nanjing University of Information Science & Technology (NUIST), founded in 1960 and renamed from Nanjing Institute of Meteorology in 2014, was designated in 1978 as one of the key institutions of higher learning in China. The university consists of 24 departments or colleges, 12 scientific research institutions and one international training center. The university, covering an area of 140 hectares with a floor space of 420000 square meters, boasts 42 basic and special laboratories such as Key Laboratory of Meteorological Disasters and Sino-American Remote Sensing Laboratory. With a total collection of over 1,170,000 books, the library was listed as one of the most completed literature libraries in China in terms of atmospheric sciences.

　　For this conference, we are following the agenda here. The meeting is supposed to last for three days，and to be separated into two parts. To begin with , we’ll invite some representatives from our guests to give lectures about their latest researches and reports on the issue, and then we will have some symposiums. 　　1. prologue

　　thank you, mr. chairman, for your gracious introduction. i am honored to have the chance to address you on this special occasion. the topic of my paper is “transaction cost and farmers’ choice of agricultural products selling”. the outline of my talk as follows. the first part i want to introduce the background of this research. the second part suggests a simple household choice model .the third part covers the data used in this research. and then, we introduce the empirical results. finally, a simple conclusion is given.

　　2. introduction

　　well, let’s move on the first part of this topic .the motivation of this work like this. institutional economics posits that agents making decisions on different types of transactions do so in a costly way .for example , farmers deciding sell a particular crop to whom base their decisions not only on the price they expect to receive in each market choice but also on additional costs related to transacting in these markets.

　　i want to use a picture to illustrate it. for example, given some market channels, farmers’ choices can be regarded as equilibrium between the surplus and the additional costs that related to transacting .especially in developing countries, high-value crop producers fully participate in the market and the transaction cost has been the hard constraint to farmers. furthermore, farmers’ market choices can be taken as a choice dilemma of transaction cost and production surplus. consequently, the scientific question of this research is how transaction cost affects planters’ choices.

　　3. methodology
